I am 19 years old college student just finished my first year. I have roughly 6k in bank, 6.5k in Roth, which I maxed out this year, 3k in taxable brokerage account (VTI). So a total of roughly 10k in Vanguard account. I make roughly 1500/month and have no real expenses other than food/gas. No debt, and am not eligible to contribute to my work 401k until 20 1/2. So what I need help with is determining the best ETFs (preferably) to invest in with the additional 10k I have in cash sitting in my account. Should I put more into VTI and another core ETF and buy a couple single blue chip stocks or just load up on VTI. Really looking for liquidity in the taxable account and good solid growth. If I didn’t include enough information here I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
