At what point do you stop repairing your old car and just buy a used/new car? Do I walk away if the repairs cost more then the car? Current car has a a KBB of $2500, do I walk away when repairs at around 50% or car value. For example say repair will cost $2000, but that will let me get drive the car for another year or two, does it make financial sense to make the repair?
