What I want: Ceiling fan light and motor to be turned on and off by single wall switch.What is currently happening: Ceiling fan turns on/off using the pull chains only (wall switch does nothing for it, so I am assuming they are in constant power)Wires in ceiling: Black, White, Bare Copper (ground), and Red (Currently not connected to anything)Wires in fan: Blue, Black, White, Green (ground)Currently 1) ceiling black is connected to fan blue and fan black 2) ceiling white is connected to fan white 3) ceiling copper connected to fan green 4) red is unconnected, I feel my answer lies with the red.
