I (23 F) have 3 cats and it’s crazy that we spend half of our grocery budget on them every month. I’m spending ~ $150 a month on their dry and wet food, and their litter.
They are currently being fed Natures Variety Instinct with Raw boost dry food, as well as the same brand wet food mixed with the Wellness brand. I researched brands heavily and these brands seem to be the best quality.
However I am moving out of my apartment at the end of the month to move in with friends to save money on rent just to be able to afford it. I know it seems crazy but my cats are like my children and have been the best thing for my mental health so I’m not willing to compromise on their health.
Does anyone have any cheaper but equal quality brands I may have overlooked. I’m also interested in peoples experience if they make their own cat food and how much that costs you. TIA!
