I have just bought a new place and I have a bunch of smart lighting (Yeelight if anyone is curious) that can be controlled with small buttons, and since you can program these buttons to do different things depending on a short, long or double press, they seem more useful to me than a dumb light switch. Also I don't want people to turn the light off from the switch since then all of the 'smart' features die :)I thought of just connecting the wires with some terminals and then plastering over the holes, therefore the power is always supplied to the bulb and you can only use the buttons to control the lights. Does anyone here see any problems with that, or is there a better way to do this? Sorry for the noob question, but I couldn't find any guidance on this specific case. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2l9lhZ9
