My cousin is having a wedding this weekend and I was under the impression that because it was on a beach it would be more casual. Boy was I wrong. This is an EXTREMELY formal wedding, and my boyfriend is as blue collar as they come.
Renting a suit is almost completely out of the question (neither of us have the money to spare to just toss a couple hundred away on a rental). I feel so responsible for the fact that he doesn’t have anything; I’m putting him first in finding something formal (Before even myself). It’s also the first time he’s meeting my family and he’s self conscious. I want him to make the best impression he can and feel comfortable socially.
Where can I get a suit on the cheap that’s not going to make him look like a dork? Ideally I’d want to spend $50 but I’m willing to spend $100. It seems impossible with under 7 days to pull this off...
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
For me ; I have a black dress as fall back I can use. It’s a dress I wear a lot though and it’s long - sleeved so it’s not ideal for a summer wedding.
