My favorite bread costs almost three dollars a loaf, and I eat about a loaf of it each week. I've recently been getting more and more active in the kitchen and was thinking about baking my own bread. Nothing fancy for starters, and I know it won't be like the one I buy at the store, but I'm ok with that because I love homemade bread. Those who have done it, is it more economical in the long run to buy a mixer to make the dough to bake your own? I know I could knead the dough by hand, but physical limitations keep me from doing a lot of that, and I could certainly use it for more than just making dough. Any ideas?
