I recently discovered while apartment hunting that I have an eviction on my record (criminal/court not credit though) from June of 2017 filed by the widow of the estate. Now yes I lived in the apartment but I moved out in March/April of 2016.
How do I go about removing this? How is this even possible? It comes up on my background checks... Only other eviction was 1998 (I was 20)... Oh, and now do I have to worry about it popping up on my credit report too???
