Hey all! My windows open inward into the home, and the NYC humidity is starting to ruin everyone’s life. I have no idea a proper way to cover the gaping opening left above the house mount.WINDOW: https://ift.tt/2Kw7G9p friends recommended wood (but this might warp when the rain hits it, no?) while others recommend 1/4 inch plexiglass or foam insulation board (I saw this at the store, it seems very malleable/not weather resistant though..?). Whatever material I use I will be using some time of tape / insulation tape to put around the edges of it all to seal it the best way possible. Can someone recommend methods/material to use? Not trying to break the bank, but at the same time I will pay what’s necessary because this summer heat is no joke and I need this AC installed in a couple days! I’m already (figuratively) dying from this humidity.Thank you! I love you all via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2KuRLLv
