Hi All,So I recently bought 5 pieces of glass to make my own dining table. When the large piece arrived (118" X 39", 10mm thick), I noticed that the glass started to "bend" when it was held on either side. I started googling, and came across a bunch of horror stories about glass shattering.Anyway, I proceeded to place it on the glass legs, but I'm now concerned about the stability/safety of this construction. I'm planning on adding another glass pane to support the middle, but don't know how safe this is in general. My questions are:1) Is the glass bending safe? People tell me this shouldn't happen. 2) Does the structure look dangerous? 3) If it breaks, how harmful would this be? It's tempered glassThank you for your help!! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2rJ2CqK
