Marriot hotels is a household name and the company seems to be doing pretty good (in terms of 52wk stock price performance) and they seem to be poised for good future performance as well with more properties under construction.
I am trying to find out if there are any drawbacks, but it looks like Marriot (and hotels in general) are not usually discussed here. MorningStar also doesn't cover marriot (and hotels in general) in their Hare and Tortoise portfolios.
I am curious to know why that is.
