Hello! After many years of penny pinching, I’m actively looking for a house. Currently I’ve been looking at 2-3 larger houses that have 3 Bed, 2 Bath, and plenty of space in the kitchen! All houses I’ve looked at have a stove/oven, fridge, and dishwasher. I have no furniture except a full sized bed with a frame, King Sized Mattress with bed sheet set, and some shelves. My current budget for housewares, furniture, linens, etc is around 7k. I’m aiming for around 8k-10k but it really depends on how soon I get a home. I assume I’ll still look around for a couple of months. Do you guys have any suggestions on cost cutting solutions? Is 7k enough for a house of that size? My Priorities are small kitchen appliances, main bedroom, and living room.
