I know it is not much, but I have finally hit my mark of saving 10k in my emergency fund. It is saved in a High Yield Savings account. Took me 6 months, but it is finally done!
I just want to thank the people on this forum for the guidance, I would have never built up this fund and would have just continued paying towards my student loans.
To give some background, I am 24F. I graduated last May, and pay approx. 2.3k (This is well above the minimum payment) each month towards my student loans. After all expenses, I save about $950 each month.
