Need help picking a gas efficient vehicle for construction job?

Need a Prius or some sort of high mpg car, cheap to maintain. Can be ugly, well most prius are.

Need to be able to fit 2 scaffolds minimuim. Need to be able to load material sometimes like (12ft long, 7 inch wide boxes)

Any ideas?
