M1Finance at the end of last year announced that they would be 100% free to invest in.
This was nice, but there pie system was kind of strange in the past in the sense that they required you to create a pie (or choose one of their own created pies) and then allocate percentages towards it. Today they just released a feature that allows you to buy and sell certain stocks and funds as needed. I.E i could now buy 10 dollars of SPY if would like to without putting much effort towards it. (In the past i'd have to add it an entire portfolio and only a portion would go towards it).
With these changes, and the fact that it is now free, It probably is gonna blow up to be one of the better platforms out.
