I really need some help here guys.

I'm 21 years old and have been in sales my whole life. I started working at a jewelry store at 16 and have worked for companies just as T-Mobile, Hp, Samsung and recently Apple. Mostly in retail, but also field sales where I would set up a booth and sell/advertise Apple products for the company.

I'm going to school for Information Technology (IT) and I'm 1 semester away from graduating (graduate in december). The reason I choice to get this degree was not because I want to be a coder in the future, but the versatility of this degree itself. With an IT degree you can pretty much go anywhere you'd like in business. I actually want to go into software sales or enterprise cloud sales.

Right now in school, I'm more or less a A-B student with a GPA above 3.0. My seriousness of school is quite lacking with most of my coding assignments in class being done at the last minute and rushed excessively. Most of my teachers give completion grades for these assignments, so no one will ever be given below a 70 if you turn it in. I've honestly been just getting the answers from my friends or finding the code alone. I'm ashamed about it now, but it's something I decided to do my early years in college. Because of this my lack of knowledge in coding is practically 0.

However, my past sales experience has developed my social skills to a point where I've become very charismatic in life. I genuinely love meeting new people and interacting with them. I always have a smile on my face and take great care about my body language and image.

Recently I updated my resume online on Indeed and added a few languages I was working on in class. The next day I received a job interview in my email for an Entry Level Software Developer position around my local area (literally a 5 minute drive from my home). So I decided why not take up the interview offer for fun and just to gather some experience. I didn't prepare anything for the interview and just went in my normal suit. Long story short, I hit it off with the recruiter and we talked about future technology, sports, Elon Musk and the list goes on. When I walked into the recruiters office he had a sports jersey on the side and a few images of space and other knickknacks, so I used my surroundings to help move the conversation to that. He asked me a few questions about computer networking and some very basic software questions about Java, SQL, and C++ that I honestly half answered. I met the team and they all seemed to love me aswell. At the end of the interview the recruiter decided he wanted to hire me and official offered me the job position starting at 70k usd. After hearing this, I was frankly blown away. I currently make around 20-25k at my sales job working part time. So going from 25k to 70k is a huge increase especially for being only 21 years old.

He said I could work around 30-32 hours a week during school and after I graduate I can up hours and they'll revise the pay to accommodate for the extra work. I decided to not accept the offer on the spot and ask him if I could have a few days to think about the offer which he was more than happy to give since he wants me to start mid May.

The problem is I know literally nothing about coding. Just the very basic fundamentals of it. I've skipped so much class and gotten help from my friends through this whole semester just to finish the assignment in class. I honestly don't even deserve this job compared to some of my friends that are more qualified. I just feel blessed that I've learned a valuable skill through my years in sales. The ability to talk to people and make friends is so important in life and this seems to be a prime example of where it can take you; however, I genuinely dont know anything about the coding side of IT. This is truly a "fake it till you make it" situation haha.

So today is the next day and I'm writing this reddit post here asking for help. What should I do? Should I accept the job offer? It is entry level job so I assume I can learn most of the information from the company. Any resources online where it could teach me different languages for free?

Thank you guys so much for reading! Any advice you guys have would be much appreciated :)
