Last week as I was parking my car to go to the pet food store I noticed one of their employees throwing out a few bags into the dumpster, and the light bulb in my head lit up.. I waited for the guy to leave and upon a mere visual inspection, I noticed a couple sealed cases of cat food, and about a dozen or so bags of gerbil and bird food.. so I ended up taking it all. I only have cats, but the other stuff I’m using to feed the squirrels and birds in the back yard. As soon as any product becomes expired, these stores must dispose of them by law, but they are perfectly safe. I know pet food can get very expensive, and it adds up. Give this a try, rescuing perfectly good pet food is nothing to be ashamed of.
