Basically the gist is in the title. I've been trying to get her to be proactive in looking for any kind of work but a mix of anxiety and a general fear of rejection has kept her from taking any initiative. Dad is out of the picture and now it's just me and my brother, and neither of us are able to help out without it being a struggle. I'm pissed she let it get to this point before being upfront about it but mostly stressed and worried for her.
My first thought is to get her on the Snap food stamp program, but I don't know what to do about housing and work. The few jobs she has applied to and would be qualified for aren't exactly looking for near-senior women.
I'm struggling guys, and I don't really know where to start. Any help would be seriously great.
