I frequently have projects that require things mounted to the wall or under a desk (like routers, dvd players, power bars...) and while sometimes there are mounting holes, many times there are not. I was wondering if any great DIYers here might have some ideas.I have bent my own brackets and painted them, similar to this guy: https://ift.tt/2jjcdQD But it still doesn't have the finish and polish that I would like and they are a bit flimsy (if I can bend by hand, I consider it too flimsy). And I have also used things like plumbers tape (which is always ugly and sharp). L brackets are of course easy to find, but what I really need are various sizes of "Z" brackets. I could then put felt or rubber bumpers on the part that touches the equipment. This is my ideal setup: https://ift.tt/2HCyL9u there a name for something like this? Any ideas? Obviously, I could fabricate something like this, get some metal, bend it on a brake press, paint it, whatever, but like I mentioned, I deal with this pretty often, and it would be nice to just have a bunch of inexpensive parts on hand that would just work. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2HXK8vV
