We are completely in the dark when it comes to 401k, IRA anything. My husband has a 401k through his employer that they match each week. But we’ve never logged in, and I don’t know the first thing about what any of this means.
I don’t have one, and would like to. But again, totally uneducated on the different types and what they do/how they work.
Can anyone send along some resources where I can research the fundamental basics of these? I tried to Google but was still very out of my element when reading.
I think I need an ELI5 to start.
