Not sure which subreddit would be best to ask this so I apologize if wrong section.I got a Rockstar mini fridge from Goodwill. For the time being, I only want to use it for its display lights: the front of the sign glows and there is a bulb inside that I intend to replace with a black light.My question: how can I safely disable the refrigerator component of the mini fridge? Meaning that when I plug it in, the cooling component does nothing, and only the lights turn on.Thanks!Because someone is going to ask, I don't currently want to use the fridge because the fridge is very dirty in the back. Even after soaking it in rubbing alcohol and wiping down the components, the fridge has the oddest, fishiest smell to it and quickly fills a room. So, for now I decided to turn it into a minibar. I added a rubberized mat to the top and placed liquor bottles on top as well as shot glasses. If only the lights could come on then it would make a great addition to my entertainment center.
