Not sure if this is the right place for this post. My current position has a generous salary range. My employer uses some fuzzy math to decrease the amount of salary increases as an employee nears the midpoint. I've been in my position for many years and have reached that midpoint rendering me ineligible for further increases no matter how great my performance is. Is this even legal? The range is a lie, the midpoint is my maximum. Btw I have been applying for other positions.
