Hi all,
I hope this post is allowed. I'm thinking you all will have the best advice for me. Tonight my 2003 Honda Civic bit the dust after me already dumping $1,000 worth of repairs into since January. I have $1,100 to my name right now and I'm living paycheck to paycheck. I have no idea what to do. I can't afford a car payment right now, but it seems like that may be one of the only options. I've already started applying to second jobs. (I work a full time HR job).
In the meantime, can you all shoot me some advice? Best options for me right now? I really don't want to buy an $800 craigslist car that has as many issues as mine, either. I understand my options are limited, but I really want to try and be smart with it. I currently am paying off $27k in student loans right now, so I'd really rather not take out another one.
I'm open to all advice, even if that means calling me too picky.
