If earning are revenue (all the money they make) - expense (all the money they spend), a P/E of 260 would suggest it would take 260 years to earn the $1,600 asking price.
I get the concept of earnings growth, but revenue would need to outpace expenses by a lot just to see Amazon earn $1,600 in my lifetime.
