I work in tech yet I try to keep my digital footprint as small as possible. For a long time I did this by going "all in" with Apple. I used pretty much only native apps and it mostly worked for me as long as I kept spending too much for their hardware.

In December I decided enough was enough with Apple's hardware lock-in as I've always done so much gymnastics to make it work for me and I jumped to an Android on Google Fi. No more hardware lock in and Google Services tend to play better with many more 3rd party tools.

Here's my question for y'all: how many of you stick to a single ecosystem like Google vs a combination of tools from various vendors? For example, I'm using Google Keep instead of Evernote and Google Inbox instead of a combination of Pocket, Todoist and regular GMail. Like being all in with Apple it mostly works with minor issues (reminders in Google are a pain). I still feel like I'm always doing something "wrong" though. What am I missing?
