It's been a horrible snowweek here in Canada. Today, my city made it almost impossible to drive. Today was also when I was incredibly happy to stockpile because I haven't been able to go to the store for a week. I still have lots of food. I not only saved money by buying on sale but im actually eating healthy and feeling full despite not being able to go to the store.

Stockpiling (for some who don't know) is when you buy things on sale but also buy for a certain period of time. Say, shower soap, the one I buy is 5.99-7.99 regular priced for 710ml. On sale it is 2.99-3.99. So when it goes on sale at 2.99, I buy 3. I use 1 per 2 months so I have enough of shower soap for 6 months. 2.99 *3 is 8.97 which is $1-3 higher than 1 at a regular price, except I got 3 instead of 1.

Anyone want to share any stockpiling ideas?
