Hello Reddit! I was hired for a position at which the pay started at $15. When I started, rather than train me for the position, I was put on the assembly line while they hired more people, as they were short of staff and realized they werent quite ready to train me yet. I was told nothing more and was never alerted about the wage change. However after two weeks I recieved my first paycheck and noticed that the amount I made most definetly did not meet up to the promised wage. Whats the best way to bring this up with my employer? I am an at will employee, but from my understanding I should have been notified of the wage change. Im working this job specifically for the upped wage, otherwise I could easily work another minimum wage job (with not so early hours) and made the same amount.
