I am in the process of taking wallpaper down. I have an outside corner but instead of the standard 90 degree angle, it is an obtuse 130 degrees.In the process of removing the wallpaper the drywall mud cracked off of the seem which was fine for me as I could just re-mud it. However, its seems that the seem sticks out a bit so if i were to re-mud the corner it would be uneven or crack again. I went to drill some drywall screws into it to hold it against the wall, but there was no bite. I stuck some longer objects into the hole that was made with the drywall screw at they didn't hit anything.
