Originally I wanted a natural look, I was hopeful to have grass fill between my flagstone. However, this never looked how I imagined it would and I am stuck weedwhacking everything down. The gaps are rather large too and I would like to mortar it smooth together now, however I don't want to rip everything up and put a substrate down. It is level, and the flagstone does not shift.I've been reading on the matter and mortar seems out of the question unless I put down a base or it will crack, can I use the polymeric sand? If the gaps are too big I could purchase one or two more pieces and close the gaps.Im not interested in filling the gaps with gravel. Here is the only picture I have on my device currently, It's during Hurricane Harvey lol via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2BBUUEK
