As the title says, I graduated in May. My wife graduated the year before. This is my first year making enough money to actually file a tax return, same for my wife. I made under $200 in 2016 from being a lab TA. But that was too small to file a return. Now when I'm filing for return this year they say my number isn't matching up with theirs. But I don't have any idea how much I made.
When I try and get an IRS transcript online they say my input doesn't match up with their records. I tried all three of the address that I've ever had, and nothing works.
Should I file a paper return, or should I file for a paper transcript, then file for an online return using that information?
