To make this easy, here’s what I have to work with:

• My boyfriend’s family has welcomed me into their home where I can shower, sleep, and wash my clothes, but I don’t burden them with my groceries.

•My job is $9.25 an hour and I work 25 hrs a week. I work 7-9 in the morning and 3-6 in the afternoon so another job is pretty much off the table as every waitressing/retail job won’t work with my pre existing hours. Getting more hours at my own job is also not possible unless I got my BA. I also use the hours between 9-1 to take my boyfriend to and from work and school (20 minutes away from the house)

•I just finished Dental Assisting school last week and I’m applying to multiple offices.

• I have $700 in my savings that I don’t touch just in case my car goes which would set me back big time. My boyfriend doesn’t have a car and I drive him to and from college/work.

• I’d like to see if I’m eligible for SNAP food assistance because groceries take up most of my paycheck (I get paid $300 every two weeks)

• I have a $80 dollar phone bill (paying for me and my mom because she refuses to let me off of the phone plan because then she would have to pay for her own phone. We compromised and she finally said I could get on my own line hopefully it’ll be $60 soon)

• I need to get on my own car insurance and don’t even know where to start (Mom is paying but only for a little longer)

If you’re wondering why I got kicked out my mom has drug/mental issues, and I was accused of being a “spy” that’s out to get her. I know this has nothing to do with getting advice, but I don’t want to hear the “well, you shouldn’t have gotten kicked out in the first place” lines. She’s very unstable and I tried to stay as long as I could to get a better job so I could move out.

Any advice regarding SNAP, or any services or anything? Maybe just ideas or food plans? Anything regarding car insurance? Thank you for your time.
