Hey all!I’m at the tail end of a kitchen renovation and as with all home projects, I’m happening upon endless ‘final touches’. You know what I mean! One of these final touches is to finish a kitchen pass through a mock ‘bar top’. (We aren’t going to use it as a bar; it’s just for a more finished look). My goal is to secure a 2x10 (stained/finished to match some new shelves I hung on the other side of the kitchen) to the pass through, but I can’t figure out the cleanest, most secure method. Here’s an image of the pass throughWhat I want to avoid is drilling through the top. I want it to remain finished. I also want to avoid any quick and dirty approaches like slathering that bad boy up with some liquid nails and calling it a day.Any suggestions on how to cleanly secure this guy to that surface? Thanks! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2BL7BOt
