We're looking for some family friendly beach vacation ideas/locations. This will be my first vacation since my honeymoon and my first ever for my daughter who is now 7. We're wanting to take a family trip that will include 2 adults and 3 children, somewhere on the east coast (US). We can drive pretty much anywhere on the east coast so won't need to book flights. We're looking for a June timeframe and wanting to stay as cheap as possible while not taking the kids to some trashy beach. We were thinking Myrtle Beach but wondered if anyone has any experience with other nice maybe off the normal bath beach locations that might be a little cheaper. I think ideally we'd like to stay north of Florida. Let me know if you guys have any recommendations!
