PICTURESo we removed the soffets in our house for super tall cabinets. It would seem there may not be enough slack in the 220 service to the stove to hide the wire (gray wire in the picture) behind the drywall. The stock 220 line exits the drywall on the floor behind the stove. I'm sure I could more it to a box behind the stove (new one on the way) to gain an extra 2 feet or so, but how might I extend the line if needed? My brain says a short extension (less than 10 feet I'm sure) would do the trick if I need some slack, but I'm not sure of the safety of such an idea. I haven't measured this all out either, just getting an idea if an extension is possible and the safety/legality of using an extension cord inside the walls for 220. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2sFM2Lf
