Hey all,
Wife got a much higher paying job in Stamford, CT but our current lease for an apartment is until June. Her new job offered to pay our lease break up to 8k but the management said no and won’t listen to any negotiation. We tried to ask if we can keep the 8k to pay rent but they won’t allow that.
Our lease says we are responsible for rent until it’s finished and we are not allowed to sublet. Is there any other possible routes we can take? I know it’s under contract but I’m just trying to gauge options. Thanks!
