I want to get into making wood sign and using my router to do so. I’ve tried Google and it only confused me more. What recommendations do you have on non plunge router bits for carving out images or letters in wood? I’m going to be designing things on my computer than gluing down the paper to the wood and using my router to trace and cut out the design. I don’t want the inlay portion of the designs to have any design to it, just want it all to be flush so would a v groove bit work? Obviously the size of the bit depends on the size of the letters but I guess what I’m confused on is what kind of bit I need in general. Is a bee groove bit recommended? A straight cut bit? Any help is appreciated. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2DKFnRg
