This is probably common knowledge but something I just learned about.
Wanted to make some Boxing Day purchases through the Gap online. I like to add things to my basket and take a few hours before finalizing (to make sure I want those items).
Noticed that the price had increased when I came back few hours later, so I decided not to purchase. Came back 2 hours after and the price (original ticket price) had changed again (example was the price went from $108 to $118 original price).
I contacted The Gap and they informed me that it stipulates on their website that they can alter the price at any time. The Rep also mentioned that they'll fluctuate the price if they want certain variations of an item to go faster or if there are a few hours left in the sale.
I ended up not purchasing from them as I personally do not appreciate these business practices.
Not trying to discourage anyone from purchasing from them just wanted to share the knowledge.
