I am super frugal. Like, I spend about $100 a month and save about $2000. But that money is mostly just spent on my fiance. He is a hardcore gamer so he buys lots of gaming related stuff. He works as well and he pays most of the bills, so that's why I usually offer to buy him stuff if he wants it.
This holiday, he was heavily hinting that his computer was really slow and he wanted a new one. So i offered to get him a new one. But alas, he ended up choosing a super expensive one (about $5000 in price with expensive monitor, rtx 2080 ti graphics card, 9900k cpu etc). I still bought it for him since I want him to be happy, but, For the first time, i am wondering if he is spending too much and I would be better off with a partner who was similarly frugal.
