Hi BIFLers! I'm moving in with my boyfriend for the first time (woo!) and we're excited to start building up our kitchen essentials. We're committed to purchasing BIFL items, and better yet, find the right brands at thrift stores in town. But I don't always know the right brands to look for. I browsed through the sidebar links, which were very helpful. What are some brands to know, when looking at kitchen utensils / pots / pans / etc?
So far, I have written down that I've heard of: La Creuset, Pyrex, Corningware, Cuisinart stainless steel.
I've never heard of these but I saw them on a sidebar list: Mauviel, Bourgeat, Sitram, Staub, Demeyere, Paderno.
What brands am I missing to be on the lookout for?
