Howdy guys,I am redoing the fan in my bedroom. The room has a standard fixture mount directly in the center. My bed is off center and I am really feeling the hipster vibes as well so I want to use a Fanimation belt driven fan.Planning on using the Kellan as seen here: http://ift.tt/2Ai16gL have changed fans/fixtures before so I have no questions about mounting the motor assembly or wiring aspect of it...However I have never mounted something, especially like a running fan by itself, to the ceiling.Obviously this is past drywall anchors and will need the be screwed into a board in the ceiling. I live in a 2 story condo building on the bottom floor and I have a flat drywall ceiling. I would take a picture and share but it would just be a picture of your standard flat drywall ceiling. How should I go about locating a board suitable for mounting this? I'm not sure of the standard anatomy of a ceiling in a condo like this. Thanks via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2Cl92Ql
