So I've worked at J Crew for a long time and I basically know the ins and outs of every single men's product that we carry. I do not work at a factory store and those products are actually completely different than the ones we get at the main J Crew store. In fact, you can't even return or exchange factory store clothes at a regular J Crew store.
I have answered a lot of questions that people have about J Crew products on here and a few other subs for a while but I thought it might be helpful to have one place where you could ask any questions you want about J Crew and I'd be happy to answer each and every one of them. I've already received approval from the mods for this thread.

Yes, there are people that buy the products at full price, this is not at all uncommon. (People doubted this on a recent thread that had a marked down Ludlow shirt for $17.49 that's normally priced at $98.00)

Slim fit shirts are an inch and a half smaller in the torso

We do not have military discounts. We have 15% off for student and teacher discounts. Some people that like the military will ring up an order with a student discount if they show a military ID so it can't hurt to ask but expect them to say no.

They will always price match in store if it's cheaper online.

If you order from the store you don't have to pay for shipping which is an easy way to save $5 if going to the actual store is convenient. Plus you get to try the clothes on when they get there and you can return it immediately if it doesn't fit at no cost at all.
