I've been browsing this sub all day and it speaks to me! It also made me realise I've spent more money on house plants than I have on furniture. Everything we own has been found on the side of the road or hand me downs. The only piece of furniture I've bought is a $20 Velvet armchair off gumtree (Aus version of Craigslist) and a clothes hanging rack.
Benefits of living in a upper middle class area with no discernible bed bug problem I guess!
