After reading a number of posts here about getting a portable wifi hotspot, I made the jump 2 months ago. The $428 I paid was a huge investment for me but I did the math and knew it would be more than worth it in the next couple of years.
This morning I got the following email:
"We are saddened to inform you that due to circumstances beyond the organization’s control the Internet connectivity benefit of membership will be ceasing no later than November 30, 2017. It may be sooner, so please begin looking for other Internet connectivity options right away."
There website offers no further information but I feel a little sick knowing I dropped almost $500 a couple months ago for nothing. There's no information on refunds or anything; they might refund the service but what do I do with the $250 device?
I'm assuming many other people in this community are going to be waking up to the same bad news. Does anyone know if there are other providers that can use the mobile hotspot device?
