Hey r/DIY! I'm in the process of finishing out my garage in my house that was built in 1953. It's a small house, so having the garage as a useful workspace is important. For the most part the repairs have been pretty straightforward with drywall joint compound, tape, and paint. While working on the cabinets, I moved a big box and found this ugly spot: http://ift.tt/2AUvqCX This is an interior wall with attic space above. Would it be a bad idea to remove that insulation? If so, would using joint compound and tape be sufficient along that seam? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2jbLSnK
