Every since i was 14 and started making my own money, Ive been frugal. Recently, I became friends with a couple girls at my new job who are TERRIBLE with money. After learning I was great at managing my money, I helped them with their personal finance issues (setting up mint accounts, helping them in the grocery store, etc)
Its been months since I tried to help them and they have made some strides, but not enough imo. I was wondering if you can really teach someone how to be frugal? Both these girls grew up kind of poor and I worry about their financial futures! How can I teach my friends how to value being more frugal and less wasteful?
