My current setup for any given day is to carry my laptop bag containing my laptop and some books and stationary around (I spend a bit of time working in places other than home or my lab so it's necessary). However I also carry a drawstring bag around for my headphones, wallet and glasses which goes with me almost everywhere. When I have the laptop with me it becomes a pain to open it and then also find the top of the drawstring bag to get something out of it, and transferring items on a daily basis is a pain so since my current laptop backpack is dying I'm looking for something that does both.
Essentially I need a laptop bag with a removable sling bag that's just about big enough for my headphones and a few extras. Sort of like a smaller, more laptop friendly version of a backpacker's pack. If something like this exists, I'd be willing to pay a bit more for one that lasts but student life, so I don't have too much cash to splash either.
