Have been in the process of having a house built for the last year (if anyone is considering it, don't do it).

Got the bill for October. Over $100. I figured with the way the construction people were running the heater all the time to keep the moisture level down it made sense.

Well just got November's bill. $415. That's literally half the mortgage. 3000 kwh. Like... is something wrong with the HVAC? Everything in the house is electric. But there's not even a refrigerator, washer, or dryer yet. No one is living there. The heat is a bit high at like 70 degrees or so again to keep the moisture level down.

Any advice appreciated. Maybe the wrong sub? Point me in the right direction? Anything.
