I actually like my current job. When I get up in the morning I don't dread it. The hours are great, my co-workers are nice and my boss is so easy to work with. I work in a museum which lets me work on really cool things. I've been at this job for 10 months. The downside is, I work in a growing city where the average decent 1 bedroom apartment costs $1000+ a month. You can imagine the costs of actually buying a house. I make 37K + state employee benefits package. I'll be 28 next month and I still don't feel like I can live on my own. This bothers me because it's something I really wanted to accomplish before I'm 30. I also have to commute 40 mins a day. I got a invite to interview offer for a higher paying job (somewhere in the mid 40k range) but I'm hesitant.I've had terrible jobs in the past so I really feel like I've found something good here. I don't want to leave, but then I keep kicking myself for not making the money I want. I 'll probably go to the interview to hear them out but if they offered me the job I would be conflicted.
