I'm not a great coder, but I'm very good at mathematical theories and I would have some coders working for me to help me write the actual code. The company has a running code already but I don't know what kind of assets they have under their algorithm, or their history with HFT. I do know that most of their assets are in bonds and liquid stocks. The rest I assume would be for HFT and other higher-risk ventures.
I've been told this is a very stressful field. I don't handle stress very well at all. Other than that though, what else should I know? I got offered a nice starting salary, but I'd have to move out of California for it.
