I've got a gas fireplace that got scratched on the interior a few times. These pics show the damage:http://ift.tt/2nAzKBg the long horizontal white scratch at the top, and the scratchy area on the right. How can I get it back to the original unscratched look? I'm not sure what material the gas fireplace interior is exactly, its not obviously metallic: it feels slightly cardboard-y to the touch, and the charcoal-coloured powder/soot comes off on my fingers when I touch it.I've seen both "stove paint" and "stove polish" being sold online, but I'm not sure if either of those would be suitable? Any help appreciated, thanks. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2zYG5bK
